Graduate Student Assembly Strategic Plan Project

Service & Public Engagement

In 2013 I initiated the Carnegie Mellon GSA Strategic Plan project. Working collaboratively with a Strategic Planning Coordinator from the Tepper School of Business, we led our 90+ member graduate student assembly in a two-year process for assessing and improving the future of graduate student life at Carnegie Mellon University.

The result was a 10-year Strategic Plan, which offers recommendations for both the GSA and University partners in themed issue areas, including the following: Holistic Graduate Student Experience, Relationship to Campus Environment, Diversity and Inclusion, and Leadership and Public Engagement.
